《The Aggregation of Marginal Gains》

Success is a few simple disciplines, practiced every day; while failure is simply a few errors in judgment, repeated every day.

Most people love to talk about success (and life in general) as an event. But the truth is that most of the significant things in life aren't stand-alone events, but rather the sum of all the moments when we chose to do things 1% better or 1%worse. Aggregating these marginal gains makes a difference.

There is power in small improvements and slow gains. This is why average speed yields above average results. This is why the system is greater than the goal. This is why mastering your habits is more important than achieving a certain outcome.

Education has a compounding effect just like investing. The longer you spend learning and improving, the greater the impact. The more you know about where you want to go in life, not just how much money you want, the more you’ll be able to plan a career that hits on all of those notes.

Don’t let yourself get stuck at a job you don’t like, isn’t challenging, or where you’re not learning. Don’t let money be a substitute for personal growth. . Continue learning, continue growing and passion will follow.

Where are the 1% improvements in your life?
